A credit is the only unit here. One credit is one month on one line, and everything else on this page follows from that.
You buy credits in a package, you spend them when you create or renew a customer, and what is left sits on your balance until you use it. Credits do not expire and they are not tied to a particular customer.
What a line costs, by how long you sell it
| You sell | It costs you | Per month |
|---|---|---|
| 30 days | 1 credit | 1.00 |
| 90 days | 3 credits | 1.00 |
| 180 days | 6 credits | 1.00 |
| 365 days | 10 credits | 0.83 |
| 730 days | 15 credits | 0.63 |
The two at the bottom are the ones worth reading twice. A customer who pays for a year costs you ten credits, not twelve, and two years costs fifteen instead of twenty-four. Selling longer is cheaper for you, and it is also the thing that stops a customer drifting away in March.
Trials are free. A 24 or 48 hour line costs nothing at all, which is how you let somebody see the picture before they pay you for it.
What a credit costs, by how many you buy
| Package | Price | Credits | Per credit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | €50 | 60 | 0.833 |
| Standard | €100 | 130 | 0.769 |
| Business | €200 | 290 | 0.690 |
| Wholesale | €400 | 660 | 0.606 |
Nothing is hidden in there. The same line is cheaper per month at Wholesale than at Starter because the credits are cheaper, not because the service is different, and every account is on one price list.
The two together
Put the two tables next to each other and the real number appears. A customer who pays yearly costs ten credits, and at Wholesale a credit is €0.606, so a year of service costs you €6.06.
Sell that year at €60 and you keep €53.94 of it. Sell it at €40 and you keep €33.94. What you charge is entirely yours to decide: the panel has no opinion about it and never shows your customer a price.
Worked, for ten customers
Ten customers, all on yearly lines, bought at Wholesale:
- 10 customers at 10 credits each is 100 credits
- 100 credits at €0.606 is €60.60 for the year
- one €400 package covers 66 of those customers, with credits to spare
The arithmetic is deliberately dull. It is dull because there is only one price list and one unit, and the only variable in your margin is what you decide to charge.
What is not in the price
Nothing extra. A line is created on two dedicated servers and both go into the same receiver, and that is one line and one credit, not two. Config files, renewals, the client view and support cost nothing on top.
Create an account and your first lines can be 24 or 48 hour trials, which cost nothing. When you are ready, the price list has the packages.
